Unbreaking 3

Does anyone know what's the effect of unbreaking on armour and weapons? Does it increase the durability of it or lowers the chance of a durability being used up per use? I read some source on reddit and it says unbreaking 1 has a 50% chance of 1 durability used per use. Unbreaking 2 is 33.3& chance. Unbreaking 3 is 25%. Can someone confirm if its like this on IC

Heya,
On IC we handle unbreaking like this - unbreaking adds a percentage of the durability to the item. So say for example, unbreaking one adds 25% of that armour/weapons durability on and unbreaking three adds 35% of the armour/weapons durability onto it.
